Multi-Track Showcase @ Bristol Takeover

We’re sliding into the Bristol Takeover event, part of Colston Hall’s 150th anniversary celebrations, with a celebration of our own! Combining for a special one-off showcase performance are the first three acts Multi-Track will be working with over the next year through Home-Grown Heat, our artist development scheme. Expect styles from rap to soul and ‘non-pigeon hole’ from nothing less than the freshest talent on the emerging scene coming out of Bristol!

Venue: Level 1, Colston Hall

Splitz P

Starting out experimenting with Grime at local youth clubs, Splitz went on to attract the attention of other local Bristol musicians such as his St Paul’s neighbour Buggsy. It’s clear to see how his versatile artistry is widely inspired by the likes of Michael Jackson, Skepta and Chronixx as he displays styles from reggae to acoustic.

Growing up listening to old RnB sounds of Jaheim and Anthony Hamilton, Charece can now be found bumping the more modern sounds of Anderson Paak, Erykah Badu and D’Angelo. Taking influence from weighty topics such as love, war and societal systems she blends songwriting with poetry to tell stories that interest her through music.

Solomon O.B.

Artist, Musician and Poet. Solomon was crowned Hammer & Tongue Slam Champion in 2016 and has gone from strength to strength ever since. Featured on BBC 1Xtra, Radio 5Live and The Guardian online as well as being a speaker at TEDXMasstricht, O.B. is a lover of dynamic displays of lyricism, delivering passionate and engaging  performances and constantly looking to push his own boundaries.

If you don’t know you better get to know! Multi-Track is proud to be a PRSF Talent Development Partner whose support makes this event possible.
