Bristol-based vocalist Charece was raised on a rich diet of soul and R&B.

Influenced in her early years by the likes of Sade, D’Angelo and Erykah Badu, her sound combines these veteran voices with the traditions of hip-hop and jazz.

Charece is also inspired by the idiosyncrasy and authenticity of contemporary artists like Daniel Caesar, and Masego.

There’s a singularity to all her influences – they’re unapologetically who they are. And Charece brings this quality to her art.

Working hard to develop her emerging sound, giving it the focus and freedom it needs to flourish, this talented young artist is truly one to watch.
